The Science Bound Solution
For over 30 years, Iowa State University’s Science Bound program has been dedicated to building a diverse and strong technical workforce. Science Bound inspires and prepares young people for careers in agriculture, science, technology, engineering, math (ASTEM), and education.
Science Bound partners with nearly 500 students and their families across four Iowa communities, supporting them for four to five years during a pivotal time in their development. By connecting Iowa State University with these communities, the Science Bound program helps more diverse Iowans earn college degrees and pursue careers in ASTEM and education fields.
