Resources for Families

United Way of Central Iowa’s 211 resource connects Central Iowans to a variety of resources. If you have questions about:

  • Legal assistance
  • Shelter
  • Health care
  • Support groups

United Way’s 211: Providing Support to Individuals and Families may be able to help you with questions about those resources and much more. Call 211 or visit their website for more information.

Career Exploration and Kuder

Des Moines Public School students and families can access Kuder, a career planning tool, FREE. For more information about Kuder and how to access it, download the Parent Guide (pdf).
